Developing experienced leaders

I want to bring my leaders to the next level.

Capable, established leaders can stop developing once the job has become familiar.

Does this sound familiar?

  • They are busy and capable, but without a clear sense of purpose or goals of their own to work towards.
  • They have attended different courses over the years, with no common language or shared approach.
  • They are absorbed in day-to-day work and need to spend more time on where the business is going.

What is it costing you?

Established leaders can increase their impact across their teams and the wider business. Without development of their own, capable people keep doing what has always worked, and one-off courses rarely add up.

  • Time
  • Money
  • Talent

But there is a problem with training.

A good session alone is not the same as a lasting change. Here is what the research says.

Many trained competencies reportedly fail to transfer to the workplace.

Memory fades in the days after we learn something, a pattern first described in 1885 and replicated in 2015.

So what do we do differently?

The programme is built around practice, support and repetition, so the change lasts.

  • Practise from day one

From day one you start applying the skills on the job.

  • Learning on demand

You get the key information on your time.

  • 90-minute leader labs

Try it, test it and discuss it, with others who are in your position too.

  • More than one way to learn

Read it. Hear it. Say it. Do it.

  • Audio app for on the go

Turn the commute into a learning session.

  • Spaced repetition

The ideas come back just as they start to fade.

  • Always available

Whenever you need a refresher, it is already there.
